CYBER MONDAY/BLACK FRIDAY: San Diego Theme Parks & More (2023)

I’m keeping an eye on Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals in San Diego for 2024 at our major theme parks and by other travel brands that you might want to hear about.

We’ll continue to update this list as new deals are released. They’re mostly theme parks right now, but that will change as it is still early.

1. Disneyland Black Friday

Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida are not technically offering Black Friday deals (that I know of), but there are deals to be had!

• From November 1 – December 4, 2024, Disneyland California is selling Adult tickets at Kids’ prices.
• The deal applies to the following ticket options:
• Disneyland Resort: 3-Day and longer tickets

2. San Diego Zoo & San Diego Zoo Safari Park Deals

You’re going to see some San Diego Zoo Black Friday deals. All in, my discount is still lower than most (and?) promo codes you’ll see since taxes and fees are included, which is why I still have to keep it unpublished.

You have a year to use the tickets. Start by requesting the Zoo info below, and you’ll see how to get the Safari Park promo code.

3. LEGOLAND California (TBD)

I was tipped off that there’s a deal time. In the meantime, you can save an extra $5+ off already discounted LEGOLAND tickets.

4. SeaWorld San Diego

You have many choices when it comes to SeaWorld San Diego for Black Friday 2024 deals if you buy direct from their website.

Note: The twist is that these Black Friday deals end on November 24 – before Black Friday!

• Annual passes: Discounts of at least 30%.
• One-Day Tickets: Buy One/Get One Free for any one-day visit to SeaWorld San Diego through 31 March, 2025
• Fun Cards Only $84.99 – down from the usual price of $122.99. If you purchase this deal, you will get unlimited free visits for the whole of 2025 plus the rest of 2024!
• Two-Day Ticket: You’ll save a whopping 55% on this two-day ticket deal. Just note that both days must be within six months from the date you purchase your ticket. Check the website for dining bundle add-ons.
• Two-Day/Two-Park Ticket: This option will get you one ticket to SeaWorld San Diego and one to Sesame Place San Diego with no blackout dates for over 50% saving on the usual ticket price.
• You can also check their website directly for special Black Friday sales on upgrades and quick queue tickets, big discounts on dining and animal interactions discounts, and even summer camps.

5. Sesame Place

Sesame Place offers its best deals of the year during Black Friday with up to 50% off tickets and great deals on Season Passes when purchased through November 24. Buy now and enjoy the fun for the whole of 2025, too! 

Note: These Black Friday deals also end on November 24.

There are various savings options on season passes, so check out the details on their website. For shorter stays, a great deal is the Two Day, Two Park ticket, which is down from $109 to $49.99/per day for Black Friday. You get one day at Sesame Place and one day at SeaWorld San Diego in the package.

If Elmo is your kid’s favorite character, you can also save up to 30% off a Dine With Elmo & Friends package at the Sunny Day Café where little ones get to sing, dance, snap photo memories (and of course, eat!) with their favorite Sesame Street friends. This offer also ends on November 24, so hurry!

7. Seal Amphibious Tour (TBD)

9. Hotel La Jolla

You’ll enjoy an upscale coastal stay with a Black Friday discount at Hotel La Jolla. Book from Black Friday through
Cyber Monday for an impressive 30% off the best available rates for select dates until March 31, 2025. 

The hotel, which is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, unveiled a multi-million-dollar renovation this year, including the opening of a new penthouse-level fine dining restaurant, Sea & Sky. What better reason to book a stay?

10. Rosewood Hotels and Resorts (TBD)

This is usually a really good sale for Rosewood enthusiasts. We know it’s happening but the details are TBD.

We have access to Rosewood Elite benefits that vary by property, but generally include a $100 property credit, daily breakfast for two, that you would get on top of the sale price. If there’s a property you’re interested in let us know and we can send you rates.

11. MedJet
