US-based solid-state battery producer Ion Storage Methods will obtain $20 million from the US Division of Power’s Superior Analysis Tasks Company-Power (ARPA-E) Seeding Important Advances for Main Power Applied sciences with Untapped Potential (SCALEUP) program.

Ion was one among 4 firms to safe funding from SCALEUP in 2024 as a part of its $63.5-million program funds.
